The procedure does not cause excessive pain. There may be some discomfort as the outermost layer of the skin is pricked with microneedles. The needles stimulate collagen production and skin regeneration. Typically, there is some irritation and redness after the procedure, which resolves within 24 hours. 

Micro-needling is a treatment that can be used to address a variety of skin concerns, including acne scarring, surgical scars, general scars, skin burns, enlarged pores, wrinkles, and stretch marks. 

The efficacy of micro-needling treatments typically ranges from three to five months. However, the longevity of the outcomes is contingent upon two primary factors: the persistence of newly synthesized collagen within the skin and the severity of the individual’s skin concerns.
